SMS Terms
WeeklyBot is an invite-only calendar assistant. If you give us your mobile number and agree to the box below, WeeklyBot will send you messages. These terms say what those messages are.
What we send
- A one-time message to confirm the number is yours.
- Replies to messages you send WeeklyBot.
- Confirmation of a change you asked WeeklyBot to make.
- Reminders and alerts you set up yourself.
- Account notices — for example, that a calendar needs reconnecting.
We send no marketing messages. We text only people who asked us to on this site or who texted us first. Someone who texts WeeklyBot without an account gets one reply saying so, and nothing more that day.
Who we text, and when
Message frequency varies: most messages are replies to something you sent. Anything WeeklyBot starts by itself is held until between 08:00 and 21:00 in your time zone. WeeklyBot never sends an invitation to anyone — an invitation is a link the person who invited you forwards from their own phone.
Cost
WeeklyBot does not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply, from your own mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stopping, and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. We confirm it once and send nothing further to that number, and anything that was waiting on your reply is cancelled. Reply START to turn messages back on. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@weeklybot.app.
Where you agree
This is the box you tick when you give us your number. Consent is
recorded with the exact wording you agreed to
(sms-consent-v1) and the time you agreed.
I agree to receive text messages from WeeklyBot at the number above, including replies to my messages, confirmations of changes I ask for, reminders and alerts I set up, and account notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Ticking it is your only way of turning messages on: no one else can turn them on for your number.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and neither is your opt-in or the record of it. The Privacy Policy says who does see your messages and for how long they are kept.
